About This Blog

Brandon T. Bisceglia is a communication major at the University of New Haven. Prior to transferring to the university, he graduated with an associate’s degree in communication from Housatonic Community College.

Prior to transferring, Bisceglia worked in several positions for the student newspaper, Horizons. He began as a staff reporter in 2007, soon after becoming Opinions and Online Editor. From 2008 to 2010, he served as Editor-in-Chief. He stayed on as Editor-in-Chief Emeritus and consultant until he graduated in 2011.

This blog is part of a practicum course that was arranged in conjunction with professors from both HCC and UNH. The course was designed around a request for Bisceglia to return to the journalism program at HCC as an educational assistant for one semester, while the program’s long-time adviser is on sabbatical.
